Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid nothing else is even close. Nonsense! There were many terrific films released in 69' as the poll will attest too. It is not as though BC&TSK was a monumental achievement that stood head and shoulders above the rest. If you feel that it does, I would love to hear some informed and lucid reasons why?
For its raw humanity and emotional impact, I rate Midnight Cowboy as the best, but I wouldn't say that the other releases pale in comparison.
