It's a scandal that they keep up this pretense of amateurism, which is about as effective as Don Quixote tilting at windmills. Pay them. I'll bypass the fact all you do is repeat verbatim whatever the liberal manta is for everything you prattle on about. I have no problem with paying the kids as long as they pay for everything just like other students do. Also they pay for all the trainers, nutritionists, tutoring, use of the facilities etc... that gets them ready for a career in professional sports IN ADDITION to the career the previously free degree does. |
