I know Floor Jansen is considered one of the best and I’ve heard her before but don’t remember her voice and I have no interest in any of her bands.
She's a really good singer, but the problem is that most of her stuff is boring. Most of her music (from her 2 bands ReVamp and After Forever) is just really tiring to list to, apart from 1 exception, Prison of Desire, which is a pretty awesome album. I guess because Mark Jansen was involved.
Other than that meh. It's not that they're bad and in fact there may be some decent songs in some albums, but for the most part it's just noise. In one ear and out the other. Nothing really sticks.
But then Nightwish eventually got her for Endless Forms Most Beautiful, and she was great on that album. So basically she's a great singer when working with the right people.
