I really do hope it's a good series. I will give it a try. But I'm not all that optimistic.
I do like Stewart as Picard. I didn't always like the character but when Stewart was at his dramatic best, he was riveting. When he tried humor, it usually fell flat, something Shatner did much better.
For the good of Star Trek, I hope it's a real hit.
