Do you know of any movies (or potentially books) where there is some smart form of AI that can "intercept and understand human emotion, thoughts, desires etc" and in even materialize it and bring it into the humans environment and it does so including materializing human nightmares or whatever bad thoughts and inner demons they may have? And I am not thinking Inception. Something older and more to the point. This description sounds a lot like the Star Trek: TOS episode "Shore Leave" to me. |
