...how often the people who work really hard are described as being blessed or as being very lucky when people see the rewards they get from that hard work? First we’d have to define what does “blessed” mean? Does it mean “lucky”, as in prosperous through random chance? Does it mean “prosperous” as a result of actions taken on behalf of oneself? Or does it mean “fortunate” through supernatural, divine intervention? I dont really know what people mean when they say “blessed”, so whether or not it’s funny would probably depend on its usage. When I hear people say “have a blessed day”, that’s as empty a gesture to me as when people say “bless you” after you sneeze. It doesn’t really seem to mean anything at all. Funny you should mention "lucky", as in prosperous through random chance?", CaptainBryce. Because today, I was very unlucky by prosperous random chance. I could have approximately $1,000.00 today, but, I lost my Triple Diamond Machine!!!!
