Eh, that is not necessarily true. That might be true if everyone considered animals as having equal value as human beings, but we know that isn't the case for many people.

I am a little sickened by all the violent remarks in this thread. It's not enough that I have to read about someone torturing a kitty, but then I also have to read a bunch of violent comments too.

Something many serial killers have in common is that they tortured animals as children. The behavior is indicative of sociopathy because it shows no respect for innocent life.

It's your right to feel sickened. I personally don't care what happens to him. He's human garbage and a waste of space.
