For TLJ haters, what would it take to get you interested in this?

Nah. I'm not a hater of the film so much as what they did to Luke. That can't be undone. I don't really feel any connection to the new characters and I don't feel there's any questions to be answered. I expect part IX to be the final battle and end with Rey fighting Kylo Ren, which just doesn't interest me much. I mean it could have had they built up to it properly over the first two films, but they haven't. They fight in Part 7, Rey wins. Luke spends the whole 8th film teaching Rey the Jedi are failures and the Force isn't about light and dark, she gets a chance to join Kylo and start something new and she doesn't. In the 9th film she'll fight Kylo again and beat him again. It was the classic actors who got me in. I like what they did with Han, hated what they did with Luke. Carrie's dead. Nothing left to care about.
