so um, what movie changed the idea superhero films can be serious and compelling. grounded without too much CGI everything MCU is against? reason mcu xmen will fail like batman and robin?
true Nolan fans like me know the answer because the genre is bigger than the director or the company.marvel or dc.
believe me ,it was brutal of all comic fans after 1997 with batman and robin. reason blade and xmen 1 are so important.

It's true, try watching the 2000 X-Men movie. It's dated, especially with the god awful CGI.
Batman Begins holds up better.
X2 is a better film than X1.
