Were foul balls in the stands kept or returned?
And what about ball boys and girls? Who retrieved the foul balls that stayed on the field past the lines?
Think perhaps maybe they got a 'hard rake' out and just tried to rake the 'divets' and 'grade' the ground even?
Guessing the foul balls in the stands were retrieved.
Guessing the 1B, 3B, LF, RF, Catcher retrieved the foul balls still on the field.
But these are just guesses.
