Whether something is more "horrific"....something like 9/11 could have by most accounts been prevented. How do you prevent mother nature? So in a mind, it can be more horrific that we could have stopped it from happening. As human beings, people do not have to become terrorists. We, human beings, tend to screw ourselves in so many ways. But again, there's not much defense when it comes to mother nature. They are both tragedies.
