A little off topic, but I like Billy Zane in the film better than any of the other characters... One of his finest moments next to his role as the Phantom... Hey here's an alternate take on the whole thing... Cal never killed himself after the stock market crash but came back to his true home and took up the lease of being the Phantom. It was a staged death to hide his identity. He was the father of the Phantom in the later Billy Zane film... And team up with The Shadow and The Rocketeer to fight Nazis in a heavily romanticized 1930s settings.
