God still does love gay people except what they are experiencing is basically a cross for them to bear as they are likely called to be celibate etc. I realize that's asking a lot but it's pretty much the only way for a gay person who wants to follow Jesus Christ and avoid living in sin etc.
No where in the Bible does it say Christ is against homosexuality. It vaguely references the dangers of promiscuity and "men laying with men". But that is in reference to wreckless hedonism. Not homosexuality.
And don't forget, the Bible was written by men. Not God or Jesus Christ.
And it was based on the social morays of the time.
