Did the slow exposition of the first half bother you at all?

I hadn't heard of this one and just watched the trailer. It looks interesting, if perhaps a bit overly stylish, but I suppose I would have to see the film to see if it all works. Would you say it was a bit arty pretentious Nora?

As someone who loves cinematography and the visual side of films, I love artsy films that just focus on that visual/aesthetic side....but Mandy was so pretentious. And I HATE that word.
