I remember sitting on my daddy's lap watching Addams Family through my fingers because I loved the show, but Lurch scared my little 4 yr old ass(his voice) That would be 1964.

Yeah, it's only recently that geek and nerd culture started being considered "cool". I was born in the 80's and even then having a big comicbook collection was not likely to impress any girls (or most guys for that matter).

Majority of nerds and geeks I know have suffered from one form of inferiority complex or another. Summers8 is leaking with inferiority complex.
