Dude, back when Star Wars came out my 17 yr old ass joined the sci fi club at my sister's college. Back then Star Trek fans sneered at Star Wars as fluff, a space opera, not hard science like Star Trek.

And the rest of movie going public sneered at the Trekkies as nerds. At least Star Wars was fun

I've circled this stuff for almost 6 decades.

Got married. Had to cut back some to spend time with the hubby. Had a kid. That ate a BUNCH of my time in the 90s. Became a widow/single mom in 2001. Still found some time for this stuff, though got to pay the bills, right?
