MSG would cause headaches with my Mother when she went to the local Chinese Restaurant in the 80's. She thought it was the red wine at first, until she was informed from another source about the artificial flavor enhancers in the food. If you have to use MSG, then you can't cook. It is now in the best of interests for Chinese restaurants not to use it and advertise this.
