MSG would cause headaches with my Mother when she went to the local Chinese Restaurant in the 80's. She thought it was the red wine at first, until she was informed from another source about the artificial flavor enhancers in the food. If you have to use MSG, then you can't cook. What the hell are you talking about? Cooking with an ingredient means you can't cook? That makes no sense. Indeed. They make more money that way, so they don't scare off the hypochondriacs like you mother away. Your mother!
There are other alternatives and more natural healthier forms of spices and herbs to utilize for food tastes. Stuff derived straight from its base source as is and knowledge of tastes associated with each enhancer.
