So while there is diversity in political persuasion, it can still be claimed that the Republican mindset is still dominate in military circles.
I understand the vocational reasons for why people would join the military, however, it must be understood, and unless they are completely dense, they will be called upon to ACT in a 'militant manner' should the so-called need arise. It makes them bunnies to my mind—or sheep, or herd—and I would question anyone—right or left lean—who feel that they need to serve the dubious, grandstanding and self-serving agendas of a controlling, egotistical, manipulating, disloyal and even ignorant institution.
LOL, compare that statement the seemingly innocent question that started it off: Are military\militant people mostly republican........or are there some liberals amongst them?Was it a genuine question, or a loaded question intended to call those who serve in the military either militants or sheep? Use your brains. What do you think? Of course one can only preach to the converted though.
