Good question. Both were nominated for a Razzie. I agree with the winner.
I didn't like or dislike Jared's performance. There wasn't enough screentime to judge.
Jesse's performance wasn't the worst I've ever seen (not even the worst of 2016), but it was bad. I get what he was trying to do (this kind of villain can work as the opposite of this new dark and gritty SUPERMAN), but he wasn't directed well. Every mannerism was taken to the extreme to the point where I wasn't believing him. I didn't see a character; I saw Jesse.
