More a crytique on h20 as being a very bland scream clone than a Halloween film. Resurrection whilst having its problems was a lot more interesting to me Fair enough. To me, Resurrection was just flatout dumb (albeit in a fun way) and didn’t need to be made. H20 has a kickass ending and felt like a necessary end. That being said, I’m still quite interested in the new movie following the same formula. I did like the very end of H20, but the rest was very pedestrian in that new wave of teen horror since Scream/ I know What You did Last Summer came out. Resurrection was certainly not good but was certainly more fun. I predict the New Halloween sequel will be better than both. Fingers crossed. |
