Hell, your one of those types who differentiate between 'best' and 'favorite' which I think is pointless as the ones you personally like and tend to re-watch the most pretty much tells us what's really of most value to you.
I always rate movies based on how much I personally like them and the further they get away from that the lower the rating (it's hands down the most accurate way to rate movies as it clearly tells other people what stands out to you and what does not rating this way). but basically anything I score a 7/10 or higher is enjoyable enough for me to call a favorite (which is currently 190 movies out of the 2,200+ total I have seen) and those tend to see more re-watches than movies I score in the 6/10 range in general as 6/10's are my minimum score for me to re-watch something (with rare exception to that rule)
or to simplify things movies are ultimately apart of one of two categories for me...
-5/10 or less = Thumbs Down (won't re-watch (with rare exception))
-6/10 or higher = Thumbs Up (will re-watch)
but like I was saying above favorite movie level starts at a 7/10 for me. also, movies I score a 6-6.5/10 are what I refer to as 'The Best of the Rest' (see my signature) as they are movies that are just shy of being Favorite Movie level.
While that list is too short to gauge your overall taste in movies in relation to mine, it seems (at least based on that small sample size) your taste in movies is probably similar enough to plenty of people out there based on those ten movies as while I doubt many people would list the same ten movies, as we all got our preferences, I don't think your choices are TOO different from probably most people in the English speaking world which I generally see as a good thing as it seems occasionally you will find someone who has tastes in movies that, while it's fine for them to like whatever they want, they tend to be TOO different from most people and their opinions on movies would probably be of less value to the common person because of it. so in this regard your okay (which is a good thing)
but ill say this... in terms of Lethal Weapon, I think the first movie is hands down the most re-watchable/best/most enjoyable to watch of the series as it's within my Top 104 movies and Pulp Fiction is within my Top 26 movies.
I have basically seen 8 out of the 10 movies you listed there but the only one I score a 7 or higher is Pulp Fiction which I gave a 9/10. although I do at least mildly like (as in I score a 6/10 minimum) 4 out of the 8 movies on your list that I have seen.
I used to like Superman (1978) back-in-the-day but on a attempted re-watch of it on May 8th 2015 I could not finish it due to boredom and killed it 1hr10min into the movie. NOTE: Man of Steel (2013) (6-6.5/10 ; within my Top 235 movies) is my favorite super hero movie at this point in time.
thanks for your time.
Mind you, these are my favorites, not necessarily the "best"...just the ones I can re-watch endlessly.
