As I've learnt from many threads on the subject, most people, not only prefer subtitles but take pride in ridiculing those who prefer dubbing. I prefer subtitles. I don't care what other people do. My personal experience is that dubbing renders the movie cartoonish/childish and the experience of watching dubbed movies is far less satisfying than the experience of watching movies in the original language. I prefer subtitles too, I just don't like how some people look down on those who prefer/like dubbing. |
