A very good game where Hearts were probably on top and created a few openings before a double one-two between Sinclair and Roberts resulted in two great goals by Sinclair. Hearts were still getting plenty of the ball but flatteried to deceive in the last third of the pitch.
The proximity of the pitch to the spectators has always been an invitation to trouble here, viz-a-viz the attack on Neil Lennon by a fan a few seasons ago and it almost happened again when some fans tried to provoke Lustig, throwing the ball at him rather than to him. He wisely walked away but there hostility there and it showed on the pitch as Hearts, frustrated at not being able to make more of their possession started swinging a few boots about. Sinclair made his debut here and scored then and he looks hungry for more.
