So someone who's directed two extremely low budget movies that no one's even heard of much less seen. Someone who's never done a big budget, action sequences, FX, or anything fantastical in nature. She's never even done anything MID-scale and she's already going to bump up to directing what should be a truly EPIC movie about GODS in the Marvel universe.
How, HOW, is this happening in Hollywood nowadays? It’s not without precedent. Gareth Edwards and Colin Trevorrow started the same way. Agreed. That's what I mean. This has been going on for a while. How did this trend start?
