I just want to understand the logical link there. I would tend to look for studies as to which party funds the military better, supports bigger pay raises for the military, etc, I desired to find an empirical link between the military and who they tend to politically affiliate with vs some innate need to control through violence. But who knows, we will see. I'm not the one trying to draw some causal relationship here. I am attempting to draw a connection between political ideals and beliefs and how the military feeds of these, and from what mindset which can manifest in certain behaviours. Read this through before reacting. I'm going to be blunt in my opinion, but it states the point I have been trying to make throughout this thread, a point I didn't make well at times: And I see, honestly, fallacy and bias in how the connection you see is being drawn. I am trying to point out where I see fallacy and bias but the conversation keeps turning back towards the connection and not to address if there is or is not fallacy and/or bias in making the connection.
