This thread irritated me due to the fact that Americans tend to have such a biased view of world events and their own God given conception and definition of what constitutes 'terrorism' (ie it is only ever against them and they never commit this particular form of atrocity) that I can see Lughs point.

It is obvious to everyone except the Americocentric that US's involvement/intervention in the Middle East ( Iraq in particular ) constitutes a far greater terrorism ( in their eyes ) than one nasty episode of 'retribution' on the hallowed American soil.
