It Is The 17'Th Anniversary Of The Most Horrifying Event Of The 21'St Century

I was an alter server, serving at a 6 AM mass in LA during 9/11. The msgr. had just asked anyone if they wanted to offer a prayer,and an old lady said 'I'd like to pray for the people in New York'. I thought that was odd at the time. The mass ended, and my mom picked me up and told me what had happened. Very surreal.
