The Fly II - Christopher Young (great composer all around, but he really shines in horror). There a few elements similar to his work on "Hellraiser," but nothing that feels outright recycled. So if you liked the looming ominous brass in Hellraiser, you'll probably dig "The Fly II."
Friday the 13th Part 3 - Harry Manfredini. "Friday the 13th" has some great musical moments as a series, but "Part 3" is a true standout to me. Still full orchestra scoring, it is like a cartoon score, but scary. Like a Carl Stalling (of Warner Bros fame) fever dream...in a good way.
A little more well known, but probably my favorite less-than-obvious horror score would be "Signs" - James Newton Howard. It had moments that reminded me of a lot of the great, largely un-credited writing for "The Twilight Zone."
