I am a fan of the three films they have made, even the 3rd which was a turd i comparison to the 2nd one especially. I guess a guilty pleasure?
As for its future it needs to die. Without Stallone there is no way to go forward, he redeemed the third movie to a degree (and Mel Gibson).
On the other hand if they rebooted it with Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson as the lead it could make serious bank, and might turn out to be fun.
