Just why do you think that a terrorist event that killed a fewer number of people is more important and 'most horrifying' than events that killed hundreds of thousands in other parts of the world?

I would hate to think that it is because you are brainwashed into thinking that the lives of nice white people in a large city in North America are worth more than anonymous brown people in lands far away because it was a ' natural' disaster and that The USA bore no responsibility for this terrorist outcome?

FYI Goz (& Toastedcheese too, if you happen to be reading this), I knew someone who was vacationing in Thailand when the tsunami happened (it was my BFF's cousin, as a matter of fact. She was out there with her father). She survived, thank God!!! However, rest assured, even if she & her father had been killed, I probably would still have given the same title to this topic thread, that I gave.

As AJ already posted ahead of me, there were Brown people who were killed or seriously injured on 09/11/01 too. Also, there were people of ALL FAITHS (or none at all) that were killed or seriously injured that day 17 years ago. There were straight people killed; there were Gay/Lesbian people killed.

Going by your animated picture on your profile page, I assume that you are probably White. While yes, I am White myself, you yourself would not have known that, as I have never posted a photo (actual or animated)of myself on this or the old IMDB message forum.

I would hate to think that the reason for all ad hominem attacks against me are because of the fact that I happen to be Catholic Christian poster, who created this memorial, first, as opposed to one of the anti-theist atheists on here, & are simply looking for an excuse for all this BS!!!
