Well, it wasn't a western in the strictest term of the genre.
But it did take place in the late 1880's, the same time most westerns were set.

What I notice is that Mickey Braddock was a towhead blond, but Mickey Dolenz had dark hair.
While I do realize that blond children's hair do grow darker as they mature, this change seems quite swift.
Makes me wonder if Mickey's hair was bleached when he was on CIRCUS BOY.
