Fair enough. I have met a few Texans like you described, but I'm certain that not all Texans are like that, either.

I had one guy in London tell me that I seemed like an interesting person, because I was an American and I wasn't fat. I did not take that as a compliment. I do get very tired of people making stereotypes about other cultures and races. It's not good.
