If only they would acknowledge that they create homosexuals and not act like their offspring are wrong. Dumb f<>k breeders!  I dunno, what can you expect? The main thing they expect from a boy is grandchildren and to carry on the family name. In retrospect I'm glad I went through it. It helped me define myself as an individual. But of course my parents didn't kick me outta the house or hate me like many breeders do. I guess I had it easier than some. How did you tell your parents, or family? My mother said she already pretty much knew, but I went through a dark phase and got very down, and there was no choice but for me to be open about it in the end. My father started to play this strange victim game himself and project onto me, and my folks can have a tendency to drag me and my sister down whether they are aware of it or not. It is about control issues. I was the one that was feeling oppressed by them, but my father was turning it around to make it about himself at times. It was weird and made it difficult. I then went through a, I can't have you near me phase, because of your behavior. This hurt their pride, and caused more resentment, but I guess I finally stood up to them. |
