4 was fine for me. You should give it another go. It's in my opinion, the best of the slasher sequels set in space, the other two being Leprechaun 4 and Jason X. Well, I did, and my opinion toward it did soften quite a bit. No doubt thanks in part to seeming a lot better in retrospect next to the later sequels. I think I was so harsh on it because I had so much fun with 2 and 3. I still find it mediocre, but at least it feels like Hellraiser, and at least it has Doug Bradley. A combination you can't say about any sequel after. On the other hand, I saw Judgment and f**king despised it. Who decided to remake Se7en and stick Pinhead in it? And I have no doubt the director is a woman hating pervert. Also, "Heather Langenkamp...as Landlady in one scene"? GTFO. Godd**n this series. New rank: 2 1 3 5 4 9 7 8 6 10 I might be jumping the gun putting 10 last, but it really pissed me off. Glad you gave 4 another go. It's definitely more in-touch with the previous films than any of the sequels after. I can understand your anger towards Judgement. I was very disappointed too and hated the treatment they gave Langenkamp. 5-7 were also kind of like Se7en knock-offs come to think of it. The director was Gary J. Tunnicliffe, don't know much about him, but he was the one to also play the Auditor (aka the main Cenobite introduced here w/ the typewriter). I still think Revelations is a worse film because at least this one has a pretty okay actor to play Pinhead and the acting was far better. Though it is more forgettable.
