In the 2020's, can we go AT LEAST 1 DECADE without having a new Star Wars or Batman movie?

Seriously. Since the first Star Wars and first Batman films came out in 1977 and 1989, we haven't been able to go ONE WHOLE decade with out a new Star Wars or Batman film being made.
It would be nice for Hollywood to finally let these big name franchises rest once starting in the 2020's and for all and get back to originality again.
