I remember his great performances, as good guys & bad guys, in these films:
As Scott Crossfield in "The Right Stuff" (1983)
As "Judd Travers" in the Shiloh films trilogy... "Shiloh" (1996) & "Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season" (1999) & "Saving Shiloh" (2006)... I may be mistaken, but I think he was the only actor to appear in all three films. Most of the roles were recast by the third film.
