Never could warm to this movie. When it came out I thought the Lost Boys looked like laughable scruffed up hair metal fans who I could never take seriously as antagonists. Also hated the soundtrack with the exception of the Echo & The Bunnymen/Doors track. Never really bought into the Cult Of The Corey's either. Might enjoy it more now from a cheesy nostalgia angle. Yeah, I think you would. I don't know that you have to take them seriously. It's super 80s cheese, but I've always found it pretty fun. Though, I prefer Fright Night. had the making of a classic the moment it hit the screen. The Lost Boys is a bit too slick and pop culture focused in comparison. I also prefer Vamp - 86', with Grace Jones. |
