Fright Night had the making of a classic the moment it hit the screen. The Lost Boys is a bit too slick and pop culture focused in comparison. I also prefer Vamp - 86', with Grace Jones. Haven't seen Vamp, I'll check it out. An amusing, original, sexy, dark and at times violent vampire horror\comedy that I have watched countless of times. Bites many of the right buttons— Vamp in joke—for my tastes. It also has a sort of B grade surreal Lynchian feel\tone about it in parts and in a good way. |
