Hot Shots 2 was a spoof of Rambo-type movies. I think Sheen's appearance under that name was just a cinematic in-joke rather than expecting anyone to seriously believe he was the same character.

Patrick was not called "T-1000" in Wayne's World, just "Bad Cop". Again a cinematic in-joke.

Interesting how many variations on a theme we have already come up with.
