Has to be one of the most repetitive of the procedural shows. It's actually difficult to tell one episode from another, the premise and execution is virtually identical in every episode.
I fully expected Patinkin to bail early on from this series; I used to think Joe Mantegna was a halfway decent actor until this--when he's not phoning it in, he's pure ham, but at that he's at least slightly more interesting than the undifferentiated capped and blow-dried mass that makes up the rest of the cast.
