What makes a country great?

That is an incredibly biased site.

All you have to do is read the 'About' section and see that it starts from some premises based about the Muslim religion that are partisan and not factual...in fact although they claim the opposite the site is a propaganda site against Muslims.IMHO

I know you can't see it however it is merely accentuating the more archaic aspects of Islam that is exhibited by a worrying fundamentalist element.

As described previously, Islam missed out of the awakening of the philosophies of the Enlightenment and the Renaissance which occurred in Europe ( part of which was founded on the scientific and mathematical advances in knowledge initiated by the scholars of Islam in the Iberian Peninsular over the prior centuries.) 
It is therefore seen by modern scholars as backward in some areas of human rights and sociological advances of the West.  Recent history of Western clashes (particularly USA and Russia) have led to a rise in the fundamentalism, civil war and a feeling by many Muslims in the Middle East that their countries, religion, oil and societies were under Western threat  As someone said above in this thread about needing an enemy and a scapegoat, I believe that USA uses Muslims like Nazi Germany used the Jews and fools like you have swallowed it hook line and sinker. 
Same in UK where the alt right has used the unfortunate humanitarian crisis caused by the invasion and war in Syria to cause mass immigration to UK and Europe  It is so easy to propagandise Muslims as the enemy, uncivilised and dangerous when only a tiny proportion of their number actually are.  The rest are people wanting a better life for themselves and their families just like you and me.
As a Christian I thought you might have understood these matters of loving and helping thy neighbour, however it seems that we atheists will have to be the compassionate ones in this case whilst you lot are so busy being fearful and swallowing the hateful propaganda you are fed.
