That’s not cool to hear about, but I don’t see how they would’ve even been able to pee on the tracks if they were locked inside the subway. The main doors which lead to the platform were likely locked. The doors between cars were probably not secured as they rarely ever are on a typical NYC subway car. Passengers, or in this case hostages, could have stood in the space in-between cars to conduct (no pun intended) their business. This would have been challenging for men at the least and, error-prone for ladies (in the tradition posture). |
