Wally confuses me. He left the show to join LOT then was quickly taken off and now he's back here. The character feels redundant. It's like the writers don't know what to do with him.

Well, for one thing, he was there for the end of the last season, where this season picks up; so it only makes sense to keep him there and especially to act as a go between to the "legends" to offer an explanation why Nora couldn't just be sent back on the Waverider (which I was surprised they bothered with).

Wally originally was going to join the Legends full time this season, but the actor decided he wanted to move on to other things; so he won't be sticking around long on Flash either
