Seems to be a new trend of people calling canon entries non-canon just because they hate them. I don't mind when alternate lines of canon(?) are produced like Superman Returns after S2, & Halloween 2018 because I've always despised every Halloween sequel. Those films aren't asking us to delete the past, they're merely being made as retconned canon alternatives, in lieu of completely starting over. The shit-for-brains OP is oblivious (or deliberately ignoring) the fact that The Star Wars prequels were an afterthought. They were retconned, and it even shows it in the original trilogy. Darth Vader was a weirdo henchman with no backstory, as Plinkett mentioned in his review. He wasn't this Space Jesus, and all that other nonsense about mystical prophecies or midichlorians. The Emperor was just that, an Emperor, he wasn't this Sith Dark Lord. He doesn't even like lightsabers or the Jedi force. This was all written impromptu.
