Bat's image threads are almost always fun and interesting..I especially liked the one about Those Hats and chapeaux.
Every time I see a movie with one of those old hats and chapeaux, I think of that thread. For example, I just saw a movie with Rosalind Russell in which I think the hat should have received an Oscar for best supporting object:
