Wasn't there a time in Hollywood when pretty much every criminal was just some generic New Yoker/Italian mobster stereotype even when the movie was set no where near New York? "Hey, yo Vinnie, let's ice the Batman!" I think that's how it was during the James Cagney era if I'm not mistaken. |
