Awww... The best potato salad I ever had was, I believe, German style, served hot with a vinegar & sugar dressing and green onions and, best of all, bacon! Yum! And on the 8th day, God created bacon... I make my own mayo when I do potato salad Mr D. I don't put vinegar in the mix though, but I do put fresh lime or lemon juice and some sugar. I imagine the lime or lemon juice would cut the richness of the mayo. And sugar and mayo are a wonderful flavor combination. Nummins! |
