Does that mean your a fan of both NY football teams?
Yes. Because they don't play in the same conference and I don't give a damn about people saying you can't cheer for two NY based teams. If they were in the same division or conference then that would make sense, but the Giants are my NFC team and the Jets are my AFC team.
That being said, the Giants are like the older brother who went to college and became successful, and the Jets are the younger brother who became an underachieving stoner who works for minimum wage. Talk about how proud you are of the older brother for doing this and that, and the younger brother has his....thing. 
I don't understand why there aren't more fans of two teams from the same city playing the same sport.
Cheer on the Yankees and Mets, the Cubs and the White Sox, Giants and Jets etc.
Why not?
You double your chances of a championship team that represents where your from.
