My question was what do our avatars have in common? The answer is they are both from The Black Cat. Mine is Poelzig from the classic Universal horror The Black Cat 1934. Yours from the 1968 Toho film of the same name. Also as you pointed out, both avatars are B&W. Two very different but entertaining movies.

That's amazing. We actually both have photos from different versions of the same movie. That's a mind-blowing coincidence. I love how our avatars both directly play into our usernames too. Very cool. I'll have to track that version down somehow. Awesome.
